Contributor Day is a special program under the WordCamp banner, where WordPress users of all skill levels are invited to help contribute to the improvement of WordPress.
There are various ways to contribute, and anyone can do so even without having a high level of technical experience using the platform.

WordCamp Iloilo’s Contributor Day takes place on Aug. 23, 2019, a day before the start of the official conference, at the Skylab Workspace, CPN Business Center, General Luna St, Iloilo City.
Who could volunteer as a contributor to WordCamp’s Contributor Day?
- Anyone who has purchased a ticket.
How would contributors register?
- Ticket holders should edit their registration details via the link provided in their ticket receipts to choose which team they would like to contribute to. Choosing a team automatically confirms the contributor’s attendance. Seats are limited.
What time does the on-site registration start?
- Registration begins at 8 am, and morning sessions start at 9 am sharp.

The Design team is focused on improving the design and user interface of WordPress. This is recommended for web and/or UX designers. Expect discussions on mockups, design, user testing, and the like.

The Polygots team is concerned with translating and/or localizing WordPress in different languages. This is recommended for users who want to see their own languages be included in official WordPress translations. Contributors can also assist with creating tools to make translations easier.

Themes/Theme Review
The Themes /Themes Review team oversees the quality of themes submitted to the WordPress Theme repository for approval. This is recommended for developers who want to sharpen their own Themes development skills.
