The full day plenary session will cover various topics about WordPress, freelancing, general tech topics, marketing, business, blogging and anything else you think might appeal to the WordPress Community.
How long should my topic be?
We are planning to have the following formats for the Plenary:
- Long talks – 40 minutes in total, breaking down to around 30 mins for talk & 10 mins for questions.
- Lightning talks – 10 minutes each, grouping related topics together.
The plenary sessions will take place in one big hall and will be held on the second day of WCILOILO, 25 August. We will have 10 minute breaks in between sessions which will be enough to give attendees a chance to gather their thoughts before the next topic.
What is the application deadline and process?
- Call for Speakers will be open until 15 June
- We’ll be selecting speakers from 1 June until 1 July
- Selected speakers will be informed starting 15 June
- Speaker announcements will start 1 July
If you’d like to propose multiple topics, please submit the form multiple times, once for each topic.
